A position for a naval architect has arisen in aiding the technical sales team. The naval architect would need to have good understanding of both 2D CAD and the Maxsurf Naval Architecture software range.
- The naval architect would be required to help produce the initial concept design work including the following;
- Initial powering predictions including resistance and efficiency calculations.
- Initial weight estimates / predictions.
- From the above information a feasibility study to ensure that the projects are viable.
- Initial Concept General Arrangement Drawings.
- Development of concept General Arrangement to the customer’s final specification.
